Renovation projects in Istria and especially those that are built before 1968 make an ideal investment. Once all the work has been done you are left with a property that can be legally rented to tourists and a property in Istria that has substantially increased in value.

An ideal property for renovating in Istria is one that can be easily converted into a 3 or 4 bedroom stone villa. Electricity and water connection should be close by and no more than 200 meters away from the house. If it is further 200 meters then the cost of connecting is obviously more.

An ideal land plot that the property should be situated is between 500 m2, and 2,000m2 this then gives you the option of adding a swimming pool or tennis court.
