The thought of opening a Croatian company may seem frightening, daunting and confusing to many people but it is often the best and most commonly used route to go down if you are a foreign citizen buying property in Croatia and intend to rent the property to tourists.

If you do NOT intend renting the property and are buying it for the sole use of yourselves then the private ownership route is your best option I will try and explain how easy it can be and try and alleviate some of your fears. We have been opening and setting up Croatian companies for several years for our clients and we will Introduce you to a lawyer, if required an accountant, the public notary and a trustworthy and reliable bank with internet banking service. We will be here in Istria in Pula to liaise with all parties concerned and make sure that your interests are protected and the job is being done. We will contact you and notify you of all developments and make all the arrangements for public notary signing and registering the company with you at the local tax offices. We will schedule the public notary and also arrange for a court appointed Translator to be present. Prior to you arriving here in Pula to sign the documents at the public notary to open your Croatia company we will have all your Croatian company set up papers translated for you and emailed to you so that any questions that you may have ,could and will , have been answered. All the required data for opening a Croatian company would have been checked by you and us ,hence the time spent in the public notary and various offices will be kept to a minimum. Any foreign citizen can open a Croatian company either individually or as a partnership. You will be classed as a director or directors of the company. You will need a current passport with photograph.
