When does the law
come into affect
Answer = 1st November 2010 Who does the the new law affect Answer = All companies with more than 1 owner If I have a company with lots of directors ,but only 1 owners does this law affect me No. It is for Croatian companies with more than 1 owner What is required for the new law Answer = All companies with more than 1 owner must produce the details and data o all owners of the company, This includes address, O.I.B number and full name How can we do this Answer = Firstly obtain a private and individual O.I.B number. This is separate to your company O.I.B number which your company should already have. How long does is take to get an O.I.B Answer = 1 - 2 days What is required for an O.I.B Answer = Passport and address How can you sign and do this when you are not in Croatia Answer = A Punomoc can be prepared for you. The Punomoc MUST be written in Croatian and also translated into English. What is Punomoc Answer = A Punomoc is when you are giving power to somebody to sign on your behalf What do I do with the Punomoc Answer = You then take the Punomoc, written in 2 languages to any solicitor / lawyer/ public notary in England. You then sign the Punomoc and the solicitor / lawyer/ public notary also signs and stamps it. When the Punomoc is signed what do i do with it Answer = You then have to get the document apostlised. You can only do this at the offices in Milton Keynes. Once you have the Punomoc Apostlised what then Answer = Then you arrange for all the documents to be sent to the person that you have selected in the Punomoc. This should be done using DHL or UPS or another guaranteed postal service. When the Punomoc is safely returned to Croatia what happens then Answer = Believe or not , it has to be translated again, not all of it ONLY the stamp from the British apostle. Then and only then can the Punomoc be used and the process can begin . Can the Croatian embassy in London public notarise the Punomoc Answer = No, They do have a public notary service , but is it for Croatian nations. Can the Croatian embassy in London do all the required procedure Answer = No. It is NOT their job to do it. This is a job for the public notary in Croatia. How much does it cost
Answer = Translation fee approximately = 150 - 200 Kuna. Public notary fee in Croatia. Advertising = 100 kuna, The Croatian courts 250 Kuna.
