Barban is located in the valley of Rasa in the South-East of Istria, Barban is 28 km North-East of Pula, Barban is 10 km West of Labin and 5 km from the sea. Barban`s nearest airport is Pula International which is 25 km away. The municipality of Barban encompasses an area of 100 km2 containing 73 villages and hamlets with a total population of 2802 inhabitants.

In and around the Barban area there are lots of Istrian stone houses, renovation projects and newly built and under construction Istrian luxury villas. Barban is slightly in land and there are not any tourist apartments for sale.

Getting to Barban

There is a main road that goes from Labin - Barban - Pula. There is a regular bus service but there is no train station in Barban. The nearest airport to Barban is Pula.
